The D-Link DIR-515 is a wireless router that supports the 802.11g and 802.11n standards. As an upgrade from the D-Link DIR-501 Wireless N 150, the DIR-515 supports a full Draft N throughput up to 300Mbps. This means it’s better suited for streaming audio & video content, as well as sharing files. Just like its weaker sibling, the router connects to the Internet via a single 10/100 Ethernet WAN interface. And it too can establish a standard wired Ethernet connection to up to four devices. Signature here is the abundance of latest security technologies, including dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) for preventing Internet attacks, and WPA/WPA2 for encryption.
