I have had this notebook for 2 years now, I used it as a truck driver and am now using it as my main computer at home. I have had very few problems with it, as the only problem I had was a defective power supply which turns out to be a recall issue.

It has been beaten up on the truck, and has kept on going. Not bad for a low end computer.

Just as a side note, my computer came with 1GIG of memory and a 100 Gig hard drive.

I have this notebook and I took it up to 2 gigs of memory and a 160 GB hard drive and despite not having a true 3D graphics card, it plays most of today's games with no problem! Love this machine...wish I had two!

I have a Presario 1700T from 2001. It has 512 megahertz processor and 128mb RAM, and a 20 GB hard drive, with a 14 inch 4:3 screen. Makes this one seem like God.
