The Coby SNAPP CAM3000 is a low-end camcorder, replaced in 2010 by the CAM3001 at the bottom of Coby's lineup. Mostly notable for its pocket-sized form factor, it shoots video at 30 fps and resolutions up to 640x480. Coby's more costly SNAPP models offer larger screen sizes and resolutions, while the CAM3000 is limited by a 1.5" LCD and 1.3MP sensor. It offers, essentially, a minimal step up from average cell phone camera quality. The camcorder supports memory expansion via SD/SDHC card for over two hours of recording time. Included software allows videos to be edited and uploaded to YouTube on a PC, and the camcorder can also be used as a webcam. The CAM3001 is a mostly identical successor, but features a refined design.
