The Coby TFTV2625 is a mid-range 26" 720p LCD HDTV similar to the 21.6" Coby TFTV2225. The TFTV2625 boasts a number of improvements over the TFTV2225, namely: a 1200:1 contrast ratio (the TFTV2225's is 1000:1), 450 cd/m2 brightness (the TFTV2225's is 300), three HDMI ports (as opposed to the TFTV2225's one) and 20W integrated stereo speakers (the TFTV2225's are 10W). Otherwise, the two sets sport the same basic features, including integrated ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners and a VGA port.

The TFTV2625's 1200:1 contrast ratio allows it to display darker blacks and brighter whites than the TFTV2225 while its lack of dynamic localized dimming limits contrast compared to sets that sport this technology. Its integrated 20W stereo speakers allow the TFTV2625 to be used standalone out of the box without the need for separate speakers. Meanwhile, the TFTV2625's VGA port allows it to be used as a computer monitor while its multiple HDMI ports allow it to easily be integrated into any home theatre setup.
