Serious Power for the Toughest Starting Tasks

It's All About the Battery...

Jump-N-Carry is all about power--the power to start what doesn't want to be started. Every aspect of a Jump-N-Carry unit is tailored to support the goal of delivering as much starting power as possible to a disabled vehicle, starting with its Clore PROFORMER battery. The proprietary Clore PROFORMER batteries are designed for maximum power density and durability, which results in exceptional cranking power, extended cranking duration, and a long service life.

... Combined with the Power Path Components

But it doesn't end there. All other components of the power path are designed to support the goal of getting the jump starter's power to the disabled vehicle. This includes the heavy-duty cable leads mated to the battery's output and full size clamps that penetrate corrosion on the vehicle's battery for a good electrical connection.

Don't Let It's Small Stature Fool You

Heavyweight Jump Starting in a Lightweight Package

It's easy to be fooled by the small stature of the JNC300XL. After all, it weighs just 9 pounds. Don't let that make you think it isn't up to your toughest starting tasks. Its Clore PROFORMER battery provides as much or more power than much larger jump starting batteries. This enables the JNC300XL to jump start virtually any passenger vehicle, from cars and SUVs to pickups and minivans, not to mention motorcycles, riding mowers, small boats, ATVs, and personal watercraft.

Repair Service Coupon

Every JNC300XL includes a Repair Service Coupon that allows for a fixed cost, one-time repair of the unit after the 1-Year Limited Warranty period has expired. The coupon can be used for any repair, irrespective of the cause of damage to the unit. This provides great peace of mind that if your unit is damaged in any way, you can get it repaired for a fixed price.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I misplaced the charger. No input specs appear on the JNC300XL. I have a charger which is 12VDC-500mA with center positive. Does that sound right?

Mine says AC/DC Adaptor Class 2 Power Unit Model: RHD41-1200500 Input: 120V~, 60Hz, 12W Output: 12V, 500 mA with center positive.

  • Do I need to charge it firstly or I can use it directly?

First, did you receive an instruction booklet with your Clore JNC300XL? I would suggest reading it before doing anything. Since I purchased my 'Jump and Carry' some time ago, your instructions may be different than mine. Even though all the battery status lights came on when I pushed the 'Red Battery Status Button', I still charged my unit overnight for about 10 hours. My vehicle battery had been run down from trying to start it several times the day before without having any success. The first thing I did was re-clean my battery posts and battery wire clamps that attach to the battery posts with a 'Wire Brush Battery Post and Clamp Cleaner.' I then attached and tightened the wires to my battery. After that I attached the 'Jump and Carry' to my battery. I let it sit for about 5 minutes to have some of the charge in the 'Jump and Carry' transfer into my car battery before I tried to start my vehicle. After that, I turned the key to on and waited for 30 seconds so that the fuel pump had a chance to pump gas up to the injectors. I then turned the key to start and my vehicle jumped to life. I might add that if you have a newer vehicle, you don't want to pump the gas peddle while trying to start your vehicle; if you do, you may end up flooding out the cylinders with too much gas and your car may not start, at which point you may have to wait 5 or ten minutes until the gas drains out of the cylinders before your next attempt at starting your engine.

  • Some battery jump starter requires a monthly maintenance like plugging it in to house outlet every month. Does this product needs a maintenance too?

Yes every three months. I registered with them and they shoot me a reminder email.
