The Clarion VZ709 is an in-car multimedia A/V receiver which is an upgrade to the VZ509, providing up to 200 watts of peak power.  The receiver is designed with a fully motorized 7" color LCD monitor that offers adjustable tilt and brightness and has touch panel controls.  It supports playback of DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, MP3, AAC, and WMA files, and is also DivX certified with DivX media and video playback.  The receiver includes BBE MP, Beat EQ, and Magna Bass EX technology for enhanced bass and improved sound reproduction.  The VZ709 features a built-in AM/FM tuner and has separate front and rear source controls for 2-zone entertainment.  It includes built-in Bluetooth handsfree and audio streaming, is satellite and steering remote ready, and supports iPod direct control with the optional adapter.  The receiver has a suggested retail price of $1000 and comes with a remote control.
