Frequently Asked Questions
How much sand is needed to fill it?
250 lbs. use a funnel with large opening at base and top, shake base often to shift sand.
How do you prevent the bag from wobbling while it's inside the base? The third black piece isn't tight and there is no way to make it fixed
The bag is designed to move inside the base, this is a feature because of 2 reasons. 1.) The plastic connection would eventually snap if it was a rigid connection. 2.) The entire bag would move around on the floor if it was rigid. This connection helps disperse the energy of your hitting the bag. This is no different than most punching bags, they hang from a chain. If you need something more rigid (Which is unrealistic) perhaps mounting a foam pad to a wall or Jack post? Hope that helps.
How do you remove sand from the base when you eventually want to move it?
It's actually not that heavy, I move it back and forth between workouts. If you want to empty it completely I guess just empty some out at a time on to a mat and shop vac. Sorry, I really don't know I'm just guessing! I'd probably leave it for my husband to figure out! BAhahaha.
