The 8.1 megapixel camera offers 30 scene modes, facial recognition (including the ability to teach the camera to recognize specific faces) for focus assistance and a blur detection mode that can release the shutter at the best moment to capture a sharp image. Despite its small size, reviews describe the ergonomics and controls as comfortable. Image quality is pegged by most reviewers as being good but not exceptional.
