Edit

The Casio LK-270 is an illuminated keyboard with a 61-key layout. This is aimed at beginners, and while it is a simplified version of the Casio LK-230 it has more sounds to choose from. The Voice Pad functions have been removed, although sampling from a mic is still possible for keyboard playback. The number of on-board tones have been expanded to 570, and include a number of stereo piano tones. There are now 180 rhythms and digital effects as well, and the Step-up Lesson System guides new users through the process of playing embedded songs. A USB port is also available for MIDI support.
