Edit

Dark Void is a single player, third-person shooter developed by Airtight Games for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows computer gaming systems. Players take up the role of William Augustus Grey and must battle a group of hostile aliens known as the Watchers in a fight for survival. The game features a now-standard cover system similar to the Gears of War series which allows players to use terrain defensively and strategically in order to overcome enemies. Additionally, a unique vertical cover system is introduced along with gameplay that involves heavy use of a jetpack by the main character. Along with traditional movement horizontally over terrain, players can also fly vertically and utilize cover while scaling a level upwards.

Features
  • available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PC
  • third-person shooter
  • on-foot and mid-air gameplay
