Large button size is ideal for spontaneous video capture - allows users to focus entirely on content capture without having to intermittently stop and double-check which controls they are prompting

1 agrees

Free of audible motor noise despite reports that say otherwise - content may play back with certain noises directly from the unit, but appears flawless when exported to a computer interface

Larger form factor provides ergonomic benefit and overall ease of control - much preferred to smaller "ultra-compact" models available from many competitors that are difficult to control

Not compatible with various Apple computer models - FireWire connectivity may limit customer base to PC users only

Still picture support is fairly underwhelming - many photos appear somewhat blurred and washed-out, especially those taken indoors

Doesn't include a FireWire cable, which is required for file transfer - users are forced to purchase a separate cable, which may cost up to $15 depending on quality

1 agrees

Some features border on gaudiness - ability to change LED button backlighting is a fairly silly feature, complicating both hardware and software interfaces
