The Canon REALiS SX7 Mark II D is a professional-grade projector that uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology and an AISYS optical engine to provide a deep contrast ratio (1000:1), a strong brightness rate (4000 Lumens), and a 3000-hour lamp life. As an upgrade from the original Mark II, the Mark II D features a DICOM Simulation image mode setting that allows the user to calibrate the projector to the DICOM14 standard used by medical professionals. This means a user can now output images usually restricted to only DICOM compliant monitors: X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs. Like its predecessor, the SX7 Mark II D is limited to an SXGA resolution; plus it doesn’t include HDMI or Ethernet. Featured however is a 1.7x zoom ratio, versatile connectivity options, and an advanced color management system.
