Edit

The Canon PIXMA iP4300 is a mid-range color inkjet printer that builds on the features of the earlier PIXMA iP4200. The iP4300 is still a photo printer, and its main upgrade is in its number of nozzles, with a total of 3,584 at a resolution of 9800 x 2400. Individual ink droplets are about 1-picoliter in size. The cartridge system uses three colored dye-based inks, one dye-based black ink and one pigment-based black, which allow for different black qualities when printing photos versus plain black and white. It is supposed to produce long-lasting photos, when using Canon photo paper and ink, and it is capable of direct printing from a camera using PictBridge. It also includes basic photo editing software.
