Leaked accidentally on March 24th 2009, and realeased officially a day later, the EOS Digital Rebel T1 - known as the 500D everywhere else in the world - i is a digital SLR camera from Canon. Featuring the same body as the XSi, the T1i includes a sensor that matches that found in the 50D, allowing for 15.1MP images and full 1080p video recording. The device will cost $800 for the body only, or $900 for a kit which includes the default XSi 18-55 IS EF-S lens.
