Bushnell's Original Backtrack is a handheld GPS unit intended for use while hiking, hunting, or during other personal outdoor uses. While it does not display a map of the user's location, it allows the user to set three locations manually. Then, the unit directs the user back to each location, displaying both distance and direction to the marked locations (hence the "Backtrack" name).  It has a digital compass that calibrates automatically, is weather resistant, and uses a highly sensitive receiver. This model operates on 2 AAA batteries, is compact, and has a lanyard to be worn around one's neck. This model has entry-level pricing and is ideal for users who do not require maps.
