Edit

Bridgestone's Blizzak WS-70 tire is for passenger cars and other small or mid-size vehicles, and it has similar features to the model below it, the WS-60. It is meant for winter driving and its features are based around snow traction. They include a special porous rubber compound that cuts through thin water layers to improve grip on ice, a special rubber polymer compound that grips snow and ice better than Bridgestone's standard tires, and a wider tread to give better slush performance. It has four deep grooves to expel water, and 3-dimensional sipes that add block stiffness to increase grip in dry conditions. It is an all-around winter tire and features many of Bridgestone's winter-tire technologies.
