Edit

Bridgestone's Blizzak LM-25 4x4 model is a mid-range snow tire intended for use with light trucks and SUVs during winter months. It is effectively the same in features as the standard Blizzak LM-25 model. Such features include wide circumferential grooves to evacaute water, an added silica-based compound that improves wet traction and braking distances, and a zig-zag tread that increase biting surface area for snow traction. It is also a run-flat tire, allowing reasonable distances to be covered even if the tire is punctured. The main difference is that this tire is built with a significantly larger diameter (4 inches) than the standard model, and comes in higher load ranges.
