The first speaker in the Boston Acoustics HS series, the HPS 10SE is the predecessor to the 250w HPS 10HO. The HPS 10SE offers a reduced nominal output of 150w (versus 250w), but maintains all other features such as a 10” Deep Channel woofer controlled by BassTrac low-distortion circuitry, a high-output front firing rear ported DCD driver, speaker-level outputs, phase switches, and easily accessible controls for volume. The Boston Acoustics HPS 10SE is priced at $349.99, making it $100 more affordable than its superior peer, the HPS 10HO.
