Edit

The BV7940 is an in-dash DVD, CD, and MP3 receiver from Boss Audio.  The receiver is an upgrade to the BV7340 since it is designed with a larger 3.6" widescreen TFT monitor that has a resolution of 1440 x 234 pixels and 600 nits brightness.  It also differs with the BV7340 since the front panel has buttons instead of the touch sensitive controls on the BV7340.  The receiver offers playback of WMA, MP4, MP3, DVD, SVCD, VCD, CDR, CDRW, and SDVD formats and is also NTSC/PAL compatible.  The BV7940 has an integrated AM/FM tuner with 30 station presets and also includes RDS tagging.   It has built-in USB and SD card slots as well as an AUX input on the front panel, allowing direct playback from an MP3 player.  The receiver provides a total output power of 80 watts through four channels and comes with a wireless remote control.

I've installed this system in my RV coach and not in the cab. How can I bypass the E- brake lockout without running a wire all the way to the dash - thanks for any input
