The Boss BF-3 Flanger is a mid-cost guitar effects pedal. Boss promotes this pedal as an updated version of their classic flanger (as well as the more recent BF-2), with the thickest stereo flanging sounds they have ever produced. There are two new settings on this pedal (compared to previous models): Ultra and Gate/Pan. The Ultra setting creates an especially fat flange, and the Gate/Pan setting produces slicer-type effects. These settings create stereo flanging with a depth that feels like it is swirling around the listener. The Momentary mode of the BF-3 Flanger turns on the flanging instantly, a key feature for live shows. You can use this flanger for guitar or bass, and this pedal has independent guitar, bass and stereo inputs. The Boss BF-3 Flanger comes with a five year warranty.
