Edit

The Bose MIE2i is one of two in-ear headphones designed for listening to music and taking mobile calls. Unlike its counterpart, the MIE2 is only compatible with iDevices, as in iPhones, iPods, iPads, and the MacBook Pro. It’s otherwise a duplicate, as it too features an in-line microphone and one-touch answer/end button for seamlessly switching between music and phone calls. Featured also are StayHear tips that purportedly stay lodged longer than competitor tips, though conventional tips are also available; an omnidirectional, inline microphone for clear communication; and an included protective leather case. Critics at Engadget have noted, however, that the Bose MIE2i (like the MIE2) lacks noise-canceling and sound-isolating technology.
