Edit

The Bosch Ascenta DLX is a mid-level build-under style dishwasher meant specifically for those concerned about minimizing water and power consumption as evidenced by its Energy Star approved EcoSense technology and its "half load" feature. The Bosch Ascenta DLX  is also designed to be as quiet as possible while running.

The Ascenta DLX's EcoSense technology apparently reduces energy usage by up to 20% as compared to similar models. In that same eco-friendly vein, the Ascenta DLX also has a "half load" option for smaller loads of dishes so that water and energy is saved for a less than full dishwasher load. The Ascenta DLX can run a full cycle in under 30 minutes, further reducing energy consumption.
