The MP615P is a mid-level offering in BenQ's line of DLP projectors. Like BenQ's other DLPs, promotion for the MP615P has focused on color-oriented features. For example, there is a wall color correction feature, which adjusts the picture (after you choose one of the wall color settings) so that even if you are projecting onto a colored wall instead of a projection screen you will get the same color performance. Other-color based features on the MP651P include BrilliantColor (which enhances the mids to increase color diversity), and the 3D color management feature, which allows the user to fine-tune the three points of color (hue, grain, saturation) on all six color wheel tones (red, green, yellow, cyan, magenta, blue). BenQ also guarantees that their projectors are virtually immune to color decay, which is the yellow/green tint developed by many projectors after periods of extended use. The differences between BenQ's DLPs lie in the size, connectivity and lamp life of the units.
