The BenQ MP522 is a high-end home theatre projector. This is a multi-faceted DLP (Digital Light Processing) projector, with functions that are useful to a variety of users who wish to view pictures, video or other media on the big screen. The BrilliantColor feature boosts mid-range colors, which helps to give the picture overall brightness and clarity. If you wish to fine-tune your color settings, the 3D color management feature allows you to adjust the three color points (hue, saturation and gain) to your liking. The wall color correction feature allows you to point out the color of the wall you are projecting on (if you are not able to use a regular projection screen), and adjusts the picture settings accordingly. Reviews of the MP522 have been mixed, its high price and lack of HDMI connectivity being the main fodder for detractors.
