Edit

The Belkin Play Max is a gigabit network router that enables a number of specialized functions. It has two USB ports for connecting external hard drives or printers, and included software allows for automatic sharing of these connected devices directly through the router. The system is capable of up to 300Mbps of speed through the 802.11a/b/g/n protocols, allowing for several high-bandwidth applications to be run simultaneously. Traffic can also be prioritized by the user, allowing some applications to get more bandwidth than others. Dual-plane antennas work with MIMO technology to increase the range and coverage of the wireless connections. An included Torrent Genie application allows for the download of large files even when the computer is shut down or asleep. Other applications included stream music to devices such as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and also create personalized playlists.

Do the USB ports on the Belkin Play Max router support multifunction printer features (i.e. scanning) and read/write to external hard drives?
