Frequently Asked Questions

  • What comes with this package?

Everything you see in the picture; Pot, lid, basket, hook, hook plate, three skewers, injector and thermometer (excluding of course the lobster, bell pepper and brocolli).

  • Can be used for home brewing?

If you have the extra funds spring for a brew kettle that is close to as wide as it is tall. The heat from your heat source has more surface area to warm your wort. This kettle is tall. It takes a little while to get the top half of wort to boiling. If you don't, there are other processes you can put in place, less efficient (more used propane, etc., nothing related to brew house/ extraction efficiency) albeit. If your ok using a little extra energy along the way.

  • Are the handles riveted?

No, the handles are not riveted. They are welded in place and the weld appears to be fairly well done. This is true for the handles on the side as well as on the lid.
