The B&W 804S is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker from B&W's high end 800 Series that handles up to 200 watts of power.  The speaker is more narrow and compact than B&W's 803S and is designed with a curved cabinet that includes Matrix interlocking bracing for rigidness and stands on a heavy cast aluminum plinth.  It has a 1" aluminum dome tweeter that is positioned on top of the unit and a 6" Kevlar cone FST midrange driver.  The 804S also has two 6.5" cone bass drivers with front-firing Flowport technology compared to the larger 7" bass drivers in the 803S.  The speaker is available in real wood veneer finishes of Rosenut, Black Ash, or Cherrywood and comes with a black cloth grille.  It retails for approximately $2250 each.

Over bright and harsh, and agree with comments about it being painful and fatiguing
