The ATH-EW9, however, offers oft rubber support loops and large ear hangers designed for long hours of comfortable listening. In addition, the ATH-EW9 features a 28 mm Neodymium drivermagnet, a protective carrying pouch, a 1.0 m extension cord, and swivel-enabled earphones that can be clicked onto an ideal listening position via a vertical hinge. The Audio Technica ATH-EW9 is priced at $199.95, approximately $100 less than its formidable opponent, the ESW9A.
