Edit

The Audio Technica ATH-EM9r is an adjustable clip-on headphone constructed from a highly durable aluminum-alloy. Slightly different than the ATH-EM7 GM, the ATH-EM9r offers a lower impedance of 29 ohms (versus 32 ohms) and lower sensitivity of 102dB (versus 109dB). The ATH-EM9r also sports soft rubber support loops and large ear hangers designed to provide outstanding performance in a lightweight, sleek design. In addition, the EM9r’s swivel-enabled earphones can be opened and clicked into an ideal position along a sleek vertical hinge (not included on the EM7 GM). Equipped with a 28 mm Neodymium magnet for powerful sound projection, the Audio Technica ATH-EM9r is priced at $179.95, $110 over the more affordable EM7 GM.
