The ATI FirePro V5700 is a mid-range video card for 3D workstations. It has 2 DisplayPort outputs for those who use VESA standard desplays, and a Dual-Link DVI-I output for standard monitors. It uses standard PCI Express 2.0 bus interface, making it compatible with a wide range of PCs. The major boost it gets over the basic V3700 model is in the number of processing units. It uses 320 Stream Processing Units in total, vastly improving performance. To handle the increased capacity, the on-board memory has also been increased to 512MB.
