Edit

The ATI FirePro S400 isn't a stand-alone video card, but rather a module that helps video cards work together. High demand applications can be aided by attaching multiple video cards together in a computer via the S400, boosting performance. It also uses Framelock to coordinate 3D rendering across multiple displays and video projectors for the creation of large video walls. Finally, through Genlock technology film makers can use the S400 to sync up HD, SDI and other analog standards. This makes it possible to work with cameras, recorders and mixers in post-production.
