The Asus Eee PC 1201T is one of three 12.1” netbooks (1201T, 1201HA, 1201N) released in late 2009. The 1201T is touted as the first Eee PC model to eschew an Intel processor in favor of AMD. Featured is an AMD Athlon Neo MV40 1.66GHz processor, the RS78MN chipset, and an ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics card. All together, these upgraded components allow the 1201T to push out full 1080p high-definition video content. Additional features include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB SATA HDD. Despite all its power, the 1201T is unfortunately lacking an HDMI output. Plus, it’s limited to a 6-cell battery boasted as offering only four hours of operation off a single charge.
