Edit

The Asus UL80Vt is a tastefully designed compact notebook featuring the Windows 7 operating system. It’s laced with either an Intel Core 2 Duo (1.3-1.4GHz) or Celeron (1.2GHz) processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a SATA HDD up to 500GB. Signature to the UL80Vt is that it boasts TWO separate graphics options: either an integrated Intel accelerator or a discrete nVidia card with 512MB of vRAM. Included on the keyboard is a button for switching the discrete graphics on or off, which allows for saving power when not hooked up directly to a power supply. Regardless, the battery is so large (8-cell) and powerful that the unit will nearly always last at least 9 to 10 hours, if not the full 11.5 hours guaranteed by Asus. In fact, testers over at PC Magazine managed to make their unit last over 12 hours.
