The Asus U1F is a high-end laptop. It has very similar features to another laptop by Asus, the U1E. These features range from using the same Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, and four USB 2.0 ports. The U1F ends up with a disadvantage despite having many similar features, such as having a long outdated operating system (Windows XP) pre-installed, as opposed to the U1E's more recent OS (Windows Vista). It also has less RAM, with only 512MB versus 1.5GB. The U1F features an Intel Core 2 Duo U2400 CPU, which allows the laptop to process information with ease. Using it's dual cores, it manages to process information faster and more efficiently than any single core CPU, giving the user a smooth experience on their laptop. It also features a fingerprint scanner, which enhances the laptops security. With the fingerprint scanner, the laptop can be locked out to everyone except the user, who can unlock it using their fingerprint. This ensures that the user has absolute security, so they can have their mind at ease when leaving their laptop unattended.
