Edit

The Asus N53JQ is a high-end, 15.6" entertainment and gaming laptop to be released in August or September 2010 alongside the 17.3" N73JQ and 18.4" NX90JQ. All three models are available with one of three quad-core, Turbo Boost-enabled Intel Core i7 CPUs, and between 4 and 16GB of RAM, enabling exceptional mobile performance. Optical drive options include a Blu-ray reader or burner, while an HDMI port allows HD video to be output to larger displays. A 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 425M GPU ensures solid gaming performance. To prevent overheating, several thermal-compound cooling options are offered for both the GPU and CPU. Asus also aims to ensure a superior notebook audio experience, incorporating SonicMaster and Bang & Olufsen ICEPower technologies into all three models. Bluetooth is standard, as is USB 3.0 connectivity, which multiplies USB 2.0 bandwidth by a factor of more than six. The laptop is equipped with two hard drive bays, and is available with up to 512GB of solid-state storage.
