The P7P55D-E PRO is a mid-range ATX motherboard from Asus, released in early 2010. This product features SLI/CrossFireX support for graphics cards, USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gb/s storage options, and user-friendly overclocking options.

This motherboard is built on the LGA 1156 CPU socket, and therefore supports Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. Two PCI-E x16 slots are available for graphics cards in SLI/CrossFireX mode, while an additional two lanes can be utilized for a quad-GPU configuration. Both USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gb/s come standard, allowing for compatibility with the latest storage mediums. The P7P55D-E PRO also features a wide variety of overclocking options, including Asus’s proprietary TurboV EVO software that will automatically overclock the user’s machine with the touch of a single button. Also, surround sound functionality is built into the motherboard, providing 8 channel audio including support for DTS decoding.
