The P7P55-M is a mid-range Micro ATX motherboard from Asus, released in late 2009. This board is compatible with the Intel Core i5/i7 processor family, and prominently features a variety of overclocking capabilities.
Built around the LGA1156 architecture, this product accepts multi-core processors such as the Intel Core i5 and Core i7. Four DIMM slots are available for DDR3 memory, with a maximum capacity of 16 GB. A single PCI-E 2.0 lane is built-in for graphics cards. Asus has included a handful of features allowing novice users to overclock their system. The bundled TurboV software allows OC tweaks right from the desktop, while the Asus Turbo Key turns the PC power button into an overclocking button. Users can boost their machines on the fly when needed for gaming or other CPU-intensive tasks. For the energy conscious, an EPU (Energy Processing Unit) has been integrated to regulate power in real time.
