The P6T7 WS SuperComputer is a high-end motherboard from Asus, released in mid-2009. This enthusiast component supports Intel Core i7 and Xeon processors, and up to 4 individual NVIDIA graphics cards in SLI mode. This board features a variety of proprietary Asus technologies as well.
The P6T7 WS SuperComputer features the LGA1366 socket, meaning users can choose between Core i7 or Xeon processors for top-notch multi core performance. The architecture also provides 6 DDR3 memory slots, allowing for up to 24 GB of RAM. A total of 7 PCI-E 2.0 slots are built into the SuperComputer, 4 of which will run in full x16 SLI mode. This makes the SuperComputer ideal for both gaming and CUDA-based parallel computing. Unique Asus features include the EPU-6 Engine and a 16+2 phase power design for real-time energy savings. Asus’s proprietary Express Gate technology is also included for 5 second boot ups.
