Edit

The Asus M4A77TD is a low end motherboard. It is designed to house the components of a PC. It features Asus EPU technology, Asus Q-Fan technology, and Asus EZ Flash2 technology. The Asus EPU (Energy Processing Unit) allows for easier power management, and monitors power usage by the PC in real time. It automatically provides appropriate power usage by monitoring the PC, saving money and energy. The Asus Q-Fan technology adjusts the speed of the fan according to the system load. This helps ensure that the system stays not only cool, but quiet and efficient as well. The Asus EZ Flash2 technology allows a user to update the BIOS before launching into the operating system. This eliminates the need for a DOS based flash utility, making it far more easy for the user. When compared to another Asus motherboard, the M4A89TD PRO/USB3, the M4A77TD has several disadvantages, including the lack of several technologies (such as the heat pipe solution, or USB 3.0 ports).
