The Asus ENGTX260 is a higher end video card aimed at gaming enthusiasts who can't afford the pricetag associated with the 280. While similar in many ways, it is slightly scaled down from the 280. As a way of compensating for this, the 260 comes in a basic and "TOP" format that has all the same hardware as the original, but with overclocked components.
The processor itself is a NVidia GeForce GTX 260, operating at either 576MHz or 650MHz depending on which model you have. The shader clock also varies from 1.242GHz or 1.4GHz, and the speed of the 896MB of DDR3 memory varies from 1.998GHz to 2.3GHz. The memory has a 448-bit interface. The card includes VGA, 2 x DVI-I, TV, and HDTV outputs, although HDMI is only supported on the basic card.
