Edit

Asics' GT-2000 2 is a mid-range running shoe intended for distance runners with a neutral pronation to mild over-pronation. It is an improved model over the prior GT-2000, and offers many of the same features. The advantages are a reinforced vamp with mesh for breathability, the addition of Asics "FluidRide" midsole which enhances efficiency and cushioning, as well as a more cushioned last. Other features include the "Trusstic" sole structure that reduces weight but maintains durability, rear- and forefoot gel cushioning, a wicking sockliner, and a vertical groove in the sole that adds flexibility.
