Edit

The Ariens Compact 26 is a mid-cost snowblower with a clearing width of 26". The Briggs and Stratton 205cc OHV 900 Series engine offers six forward speeds and two reverse speeds. The 13" x 5” Directional snow tread tires of this snowblower are designed to perform in slippery conditions. The snow chute of the Compact 26 can throw snow up to forty feet, and the 205º Quick Turn chute control allows you to choose the direction in which you launch it.  This snowblower differs from the lower cost Compact 24 model in that it has a 26" clearing width (as opposed to 24"), a more powerful engine, and slightly larger directional snow tread tires (13" x 5" as opposed to 13" x 4"). The Ariens Compact 26 is constructed entirely of steel.
