The Archos 7c is a 7'' multimedia tablet running Android 2.1. Inside the tablet is a Cortex A8 processor, 8GB of storage, and a 800x540 resolution display. The A8 processor that powers many 2010 generation smartphones will be able to playback 720p video without a hitch. Other features includes an USB 2.0 port, Micro SDHC card slot, and wifi b/g connectivity. That said, with Android 2.1 running on a tablet device the Archos 7c does not have access to the Android Market unlike many of its competitors. At a slightly higher price the Nook Color offers a higher quality display and access to applications on Android Market. The Archos 7c is a budget Android tablet option.
