Edit

The February 2011 update of Apple's MacBook Pro line brought significant changes to the 15-inch version. Aesthetically, the notebook remains the same, but it offers boosted processing power – quad-core i7 now standard – and strengthened graphics, replacing Nvidia GPUs with two options from AMD's Radeon HD 6000M line. Like all the 2011 Pro models, the 15-incher features the new FaceTime HD webcam (three times the video resolution) and a Thunderbolt port, which promises transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, giving USB 3.0 serious competition. This MacBook Pro is relatively portable for a high-performance 15" notebook, at less than an inch thick and just over 5.5 lbs.
