The AMD Sempron SI-40 is a microprocessor designed for mobile computing applications such as thin-and-light notebooks.  The Sempron SI-40 is compatible with Socket S1, has a clock speed of 2.0 GHz and features a 512 KB L2 cache.  This single-core 64-bit processor features 65 nm technology and a TDP rating of 25 W.  In addition, the Sempron SI-40 uses an integrated dual-channel 333 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory controller with 1800 MHz HyperTransport linking technology to create an effective front side bus speed of 3.6 GHz.
