Edit

The Altec Lansing BXR1120 are a pair of custom-engineered, full-range ported computer multimedia speakers designed to deliver clean, full-spectrum sound at a high accuracy. The first in the BXR series, the BXR1120 is a massive downgrade from the multi-speaker, isobaric subwoofer multimedia systems from the FX series, but a match for some of the lower end speakers in the VS series. In fact, the BXR1120 maintains many similarities to the VS1520, including 6w of peak power output and 3w of nominal power output. The BXR1120, however, does not use the VS1520’s unique design which lets it be placed either horizontally or vertically while still maintaining an aesthetic appeal. The BXR1120 does include two audio input jacks for MP3/CD/iPod players, one headphone jack, and an MP3 player cradle. The Altec Lansing BXR1120 is priced at $19.95, $10 less than the $29.95 VS1520.
