Edit

The Altec Lansing Backbeat Pro is a pair of in-ear headphones released in mid-2009. Also known as the Pro 606, this pair is a step up from the Classic 106, Plus 206 and Titanium 326. Every pair aims to provide a good value for the money with every increment. While the differences between the pairs aren’t enormous, they are significant enough to warrant careful consideration. The Pro 326s have a frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz, and are marketed as being “musician-grade reference-quality” headphones. The general consensus amongst reviewers indicates that while the quality isn’t quite as good as the manufacturer claims, they are better than any of Altec Lansing’s lesser Backbeat models. The cord measures 46” long and is mesh covered, in addition to being rubberized. The plug features an elbow design that will fit into recessed headphone jacks. Also included is a set of 4 silicon tips, which gives users a choice when it comes to finding a comfortable fit.
