Released to the market on January 7th 2008 the iDA-X200 multimedia receiver from Alpine displays the information form a connected iPod on its display. A percentage search feature allows the user to access and locate audio files contained within the iPod library via the control panel’s rotary knob. The unit is HD radio ready and can utilize the iTunes tagging feature as well as receive multicasts. The iPods are connected to the iDA-X200 through the use of a USB cable or an optional full speed iPod cable; the unit can accept WMA, AAC and MP3 file formats form the iPod. The device does not have a CD player but can control an external CD changer. An adjustable high pass cross over can be set to 0 (default), 80, 120, or 160Hz, and a separate sub-woofer level adjustment control is provided as well. Bluetooth enabled devices, such as cellular phones, can interface with the iDA-X200 through the use of the Alpine KCE-300BT Bluetooth adapter.
