Edit

The Adidas Supernova Sequence 2 is a midrange running shoe designed for extensive use predominantly on pavement. It is based on, and has very similar features to, the earlier Supernova Sequence. The main upgrades over the original Sequence are the inclusion of Adidas' "geofit" feature, which is a collection of padded areas on the interior of the shoe that help absorb impact in regions that tend to receive high amounts of pressure, as well as a midfoot support that discourages overpronation. It also has small supports on the upper region that are supposed to support the regions of the foot that flex the most. The Sequence 2 has a lightweight sole with blown rubber coatings, and is supposed to be durable. The outsole also uses the "ForMotion" feature that helps to adapt to different angles or types of terrain. The shoe is supposed to be versatile, and Adidas suggests that it can be used for numerous different running styles.
