Edit

Guitar Hero 5 is a video gamed developed by Neversoft for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Vicarious Visions for the Nintendo Wii, and Budcat Creations for the Playstation 2. The game is the fifth main entry in the Guitar Hero series and provides the same four-person band functionality as its predecessor Guitar Hero World Tour. Gameplay is similar to preveious installments in the game: players use special instrument-shaped controllers such as a guitar, bass guitar, drum set, or a microphone and follow visual prompts and actions in order to simulate performing a song. Unlike in World Tour players can choose any combination of instruments as they want for any song: two drummers and two guitars, or all guitars, for example. Points are awarded for accuracy and bonuses accumulate for not making mistakes. The game has multiple difficulty settings and is widely regarded for its challenging modes at the higher settings.
